Tackling Mental Health at Work     

Mental health at work is becoming a growing concern for managers and employees to deal with and to tackle mental health requires a soft approach in understanding the others point of view, noticing the signs and symptoms and having those important difficult conversations. This highly personalised, practical and interactive workshop is for anyone who wants to further their understanding of mental health at work and to know what to do when you notice signs and symptoms of mental health in employees at work and how to face them head on.

Learning Objectives 

By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:


  • Become self-aware of one’s own mental health
  • Practise keeping good mental health at work
  • Know the signs and symptoms of mental health in others at work
  • Learn effective listening skills
  • Signpost and paraphrase of where to find support   
  • Have difficult conversations 
  • Know when to coach and learn effective counselling skills   



   



 



  • Participants to complete a pre-course questionnaire outlining their strengths and weaknesses, prior training and what they would like to get out of the course.
