This highly practical course will provide a step-by-step approach to the recruitment and selection process, giving tips and techniques to help you to structure interviews, such as asking the right questions, getting more out of candidates in detail and how to highly present your company.

Learning Objectives 

By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:


  • Identify the skills storage in their organisation and how to effectively create a job description
  • Know how to attract and select the right candidates for interviews
  • Create a structured interview and assessment process
  • Implement the use of psychometric personality tools available for assessment
  • Use and create situational judgement scenarios to determine candidates’ ability and personality for the job
  • Have practice the use of assessment tools and situational judgement scenarios on each other
  • Know how to effectively ask questions to get more information from the applicant
  • Take away tips and action points to implement in their interviewing process



 


Pre-course preparation


  • Participants to complete a pre-course questionnaire outlining their strengths and weaknesses, prior training and what they would like to get out of the course.


  • Bring in a specific Job Description for a role that you are recruiting for


  • To think of scenarios the candidate would be required to do for the role
